Meet Richy, a seasoned cyclist whose journey in the world of racing began at the young age of 8 when he dominated BMX circuits, clinching several junior titles with his lightning-fast starts out of the gate. Transitioning to the velodrome at 15, Richy found his true calling and never looked back, securing numerous national titles in sprints and kilometer events in Wales.
Immersing himself in the world of track cycling, Richy honed his skills under the guidance of renowned coach Geoff Cook and rubbed shoulders with legends of British cycling like Hoy and Wiggins during training camps in Manchester. From iconic venues like Herne Hill to the thrilling atmosphere of the Good Friday and Cardiff Grand Prix, Richy's presence was felt at track meetings across the UK, showcasing his speed and determination.
Now, as the head coach of Level Racing, Richy finds fulfillment in giving back to the sport that has given him so much. His wealth of experience and passion for cycling shine through as he guides and mentors the next generation of riders, imparting invaluable wisdom and instilling a love for the sport. With Richy's leadership, Level Racing continues to thrive, driven by a shared commitment to excellence and a deep-seated appreciation for the transformative power of cycling.
Lisa started running and taking part in low level triathlons, where she was introduced to Zwift via a post on Facebook. Lisa bought a dumb trainer and connected up her hybrid bike (along with the candence sensors) and kicked off her indoor biking experience.
Lisa then purchased a Wattbike Next Gen smart bike, going from strength to strength, winning many races and catting up in the process.
Lisa assists with the ladies and mixed riders recruitment on Zwift, and is overall ladies team manager on MyWhoosh
